ReshareAI for podcasters

Every episode is 20–60 minutes of original ideas, stories, and expertise. Almost none of it reaches text-based platforms by default. ReshareAI fixes that, upload an audio file or paste a podcast RSS link, and get platform-native posts for all 7 channels. Transcription runs at roughly 5–10× realtime via OpenAI Whisper, so a 10-minute episode is processed in about a minute; a 25-minute episode in 2–4 minutes.

Why this matters for podcasters

Podcast audiences and social audiences barely overlap. The people who would love your episode often won't find it via the podcast app, they find it through a tweet that quotes a key insight, a LinkedIn post that summarises the strongest argument, or a Twitter thread that breaks down the framework you discussed.

Doing this manually takes 60–90 minutes per episode. For a weekly show, that's 4–6 hours a month spent reformatting work you've already done. Most podcasters skip it entirely. The episode goes out, gets some downloads, and the ideas inside die.

With AI repurposing, the same loop takes 10–15 minutes per episode. Same ideas, multiplied reach.

Built for the podcast workflow

Audio file upload

Drop an MP3 or M4A up to 25 MB. ReshareAI transcribes the episode using OpenAI Whisper and generates platform-native posts from the transcript, no manual transcription, no second tool.

Podcast RSS feed link

Paste your show's RSS URL and ReshareAI automatically picks the latest episode, downloads the audio, and transcribes it. New episode every week? Paste, click, done.

Direct MP3/M4A URLs

Have your audio hosted on Buzzsprout, Transistor, Captivate, or anywhere else? Paste the direct file URL and ReshareAI fetches it. SSRF-checked for safety.

Saved brand voice

Save your podcast's tone once, the way you talk on the show, your phrases, what you avoid. ReshareAI applies it to every generation so the social posts sound like you, not generic AI.

11-language output

If your audience listens in Dutch, German, French, Spanish, or any of 11 supported languages, generate posts in their language, even if you record in English.

All 7 platforms in one click

Twitter threads, LinkedIn posts, Instagram captions, Facebook posts, TikTok scripts, Threads posts, and an email newsletter. One episode, seven platforms, one click.

A 15-minute workflow per episode

1

Publish your episode

Record and ship as usual. Whatever your hosting setup is. Buzzsprout, Transistor, Captivate, Megaphone, or self-hosted. ReshareAI works with it.

2

Open ReshareAI and pick "Audio"

Choose between uploading the file directly, pasting your podcast RSS link (latest episode picked automatically), or pasting a direct audio URL.

3

Wait while it transcribes

ReshareAI transcribes the episode via OpenAI Whisper at roughly 5–10× realtime. A 10-minute episode finishes in 30–90 seconds; a 25-minute episode takes 2–4 minutes. The 25 MB Whisper file-size cap applies whether you upload directly or via RSS/URL, so very long episodes may need to be at a lower bitrate.

4

Get 7 platform-native posts

Twitter thread with episode highlights, LinkedIn post with the strongest insight, Instagram caption, Facebook post, TikTok script, Threads post, and an email newsletter, all platform-optimised, all ready to schedule.

5

Edit and schedule

Review each output, tweak a phrase if needed, then load into your scheduler of choice (Buffer, Hootsuite, or your CMS). The whole loop from publish to scheduled-everywhere takes 10–15 minutes per episode.

How ReshareAI compares to other podcast tools

ReshareAI is built for the social distribution side of podcasting. Other tools focus on different parts of the production pipeline:

  • Castmagicis purpose-built for podcasters and excels at show notes, transcripts, and chapter markers. ReshareAI doesn't do those, but it covers more output platforms (TikTok, Threads, Email) and accepts blog posts and YouTube as input too.
  • Opus Clip turns long video podcasts into vertical short clips for TikTok and Reels. If your podcast has a video version, run both: Opus Clip for clips, ReshareAI for written posts.
  • Buffer is a scheduling tool, perfect for queueing the posts ReshareAI generates. ReshareAI generates, Buffer schedules. Many podcasters run both.
  • Repurpose.io automates audio/video distribution across platforms. ReshareAI generates new written content from podcasts; Repurpose.io distributes the existing audio. Different jobs.

Common questions

Can ReshareAI replace Castmagic?+

It depends on what you need. Castmagic is purpose-built for podcasters, it generates show notes, chapter markers, and full transcripts. ReshareAI handles audio too but its job is generating platform-native social posts and email newsletter content, not show notes. If you need both, many podcasters run them in parallel. Full comparison at /alternatives/castmagic.

What's the maximum episode length?+

Audio file uploads are capped at 25 MB by the OpenAI Whisper API. At a typical 128 kbps podcast bitrate that's about 25 minutes; at 96 kbps you fit roughly 35 minutes. For longer episodes, paste the RSS feed link or a direct MP3/M4A URL. ReshareAI fetches the file server-side and the same Whisper limit still applies, but the file you uploaded directly may be re-encoded by your host at a lower bitrate.

Does ReshareAI publish to platforms automatically?+

No. ReshareAI generates the content; you copy or schedule it via your tool of choice (Buffer, Hootsuite, your CMS). Direct publishing is on the roadmap but not currently shipped.

What about video podcasts on YouTube?+

If your podcast is on YouTube, paste the YouTube link directly. ReshareAI pulls the transcript automatically (no API key needed). You get the same 7 platform outputs from a video podcast as from an audio one.

How much does this cost for a weekly podcast?+

Free plan covers 5 sessions per month, enough for a weekly podcast with one regeneration buffer. Pro at $12/month is unlimited and includes the saved brand voice that makes the output sound like you. For most independent podcasters, Pro pays for itself the first month in time saved.
